Begin your Franciscan journey today!

Our mission as a Franciscan and Catholic university that embraces the call to dynamic orthodoxy is to educate, to evangelize, and to send forth joyful disciples.

By applying to Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, you’ll set yourself on a path to intellectual, professional, and spiritual formation through a Catholic university that’s as rigorous and demanding as it is faithful. When you apply to Franciscan, the college admissions team will help you every step of the way, from answering your questions about admissions requirements and process to helping you discern the undergraduate major and online or graduate program that’s ideal for you.

Ninety four percent of Franciscan University of Steubenville grads are employed in their field, in graduate school, or in seminary or religious life within one year of receiving their diploma.

A 14-to-1 student-to-faculty ration means you will have professors, not teaching assistants, who have the time to get to know you, and who take a personal interest in your success!

The Office of Financial Aid takes pride in doing everything possible to help each and every student personally to find all available financial aid to make a Franciscan education a reality.

Education, biology, theology, engineering, accounting, psychology, German, chemistry, nursing, philosophy, history, and so many more majors and minors: you will find your passion.
